National Hunting and Fishing Day

Celebrating 41 years of recognized importance of our Outdoors Heritage

 

On September 22, 2012, the Erie County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs will

celebrate the 41st Annual National Hunting and Fishing Day at Elma

Conservation Club, 600 Creek Road, Elma, NY.

Starting at 10:00AM, Western New Yorkers of all ages are invited to attend this

free event, to enhance your knowledge of the natural world around us, and how

the sporting heritage protects and assures diverse wildlife and waterway treasures.

Activities include learning about:

  • Bass fishing tips and Walleye tactics

  • Waterways protections and Habitat/ Access Program

  • Archery and Crossbow shooting

  • Trap Shooting and BB Gun Range

  • Trapping and fur handling

  • Waterfowl management

  • Retriever Demonstrations

  • The History of Conservation in WNY

  • Our friends from the DEC

  • Much, much more…

  • Free Rod and reel give a ways throughout the day

  • FREE Hot Dog Lunch from Sahlen's Hot Dogs

Event runs from 10AM-4PM, rain or shine, Saturday September 22, 2012. Come
